No matter what the occasion if it’s special orders, or corporate events, our event planner will work with you to personalize your special day including employee appreciations, birthdays, graduations, bar or batmitzvahs and baby showers.

When inquiring about a custom order please include:

    • When you need the order for,
    • How many people you are looking to feed,
    • A theme or any photos of design ideas

Please allow 4-14 days’ notice at minimum. An order is not guaranteed without full payment in advance.



Prices vary depending on size, details and complexity of your design. Every order is custom therefore every price is custom.

  • How many people you need to feed,
  • When you need the cake for and,
  • A theme or any design ideas you might have.
  • Attach any photos and also the flavor preferences.

We are excited that you have reached out to us about creating an edible piece of art for you. We try to respond to all emails about custom orders within 24 hours. However please be patient with us, especially on weekends as we are not at our computers all day. During the day we are baking, frosting and working on custom orders placed for the week.

Yes, absolutely!  We would love to talk with you about a custom order however we still need you to have the required information in order to help you as quickly as possible.  We want every customer to get our undivided attention, however, that is not always possible as we get quite busy on some days and times.

YES! Have you had our cupcakes in the shop before? Our cakes and custom cupcakes are made with the same recipes, so if you love our regular cupcakes you will love our custom cakes! Our batters are made using only the highest quality ingredients including sweet cream butter, milk, flour, sugar, eggs, Madagascar vanilla bean, Callebaut chocolate. We pride ourselves on quality and we are always taste tasting to make sure you are received a consistent product.

We are not a gluten free or nut free facility. We do make vegan cakes and sugar free cakes.  We can also accommodate some special dietary issues, just let us know and we’ll see what we can do.


Meemo’s Bakery cannot guarantee that any of our products are 100% free of allergens. Please note that although a product may not contain nuts, many items are made in our kitchen with nuts, eggs, soy, milk and wheat.

The desserts you and your guests will consume could come in contact with other food items outside of our bakery (i.e. at your event) that could cause allergic reactions in some people. Please inform your guests that it is their choice to consume our product, and Meemo’s Bakery is not liable for any allergic reactions. All of our products are prepared on shared equipment. We are happy to discuss our methods of preparation with you at any time.

Meemo’s Bakery makes every attempt to ensure that your baked goods are free from foreign objects. We are not responsible for damages caused by foreign objects such as candles, sparklers or other decorations that are placed on or in our products, nor are we responsible for damages to said products, or persons handling them once they are picked up, removed, or delivered from our premises.

Meemo’s Bakery makes everything to order.  We highly recommend placing custom orders at least 72 hours in advance.  On popular weekends our baking schedule often fills up!  Orders for custom decorated cakes, cupcakes and cookies should be placed as far in advance as possible; while we do our best to accommodate last-minute custom orders, we cannot guarantee availability.  Often times, decorative elements of your cake will need to be made in advance to give enough time for drying, these items require a two-week advance notice. As soon as you know you are in need of a cake please reach out for a quote. We love you and would be honored to create a custom order for you however please do not get upset with us because we are booked. Some weeks we are able to fit a few cakes in with 3 days’ notice some weeks we are booked 2 weeks or more in advance, please do not wait until the last minute to place your order if you know you are looking to book with us.

All custom orders must be picked up at the bakery located at 2611 Wagon Wheel, San Antonio, TX 78217. It is possible to arrange delivery on a case by case basis with an additional delivery fee depending on – when, where, what time.  All cakes that are three tiers or larger will REQUIRE delivery.  We do not allow pickup of these larger cakes.

We require full payment in advance for all custom orders. After an order is placed and finalized you will know the exact total of your order.  We have a PayPal link on our website for your convenience, or you may stop by the bakery to pay for your cake.  All payments need to be received before any work can begin on your cake or custom order.

Custom orders take days to create. Changes and Cancellations to custom orders will be accepted up to 3 days prior to your order. In the event of a cancellation after the 3 days if the order has not been started in any way the order can be transferred to a later date but no refund will be made. If the order has already been started the date cannot be changed or refunded. This applies regardless of the circumstances.

Due to the tedious, handcrafted and custom nature of our custom orders, we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for custom orders.

Once you or a designated party has picked up an order, it is considered “accepted” – refunds requested due to decorating style, writing, color shade, or general design will not be honored after your cake leaves the bakery.

All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our shop. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the cake during transport, set-up or anytime thereafter. You will be given instructions on how to carry, transport, and store your cake upon pick up. Keep in mind that cakes are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly. properly – such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc. If damage has occurred after the cake has left the bakery please call, and bring the order back. We will do our best to correct the issue – as long as a decorator is available – however additional charges may apply.

All sales are final, with the exception of custom orders cancelled with sufficient notice (discussed above).  Cake flavor and texture is subjective. Full refunds requested due to flavor or texture after the cake has been accepted and picked up will not be honored.  In the unlikely event that you are not happy with your order, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can fix any error, and return the uneaten portion within 24 hours.  Partial or full refunds are decided on a case-by-case basis, but please note that we do not provide refunds in cases where an item was prepared correctly but a flavor or texture did not meet a personal preference.

We do all that we can to make sure that your order is decorated to the specifications on your written order form. Upon pick-up of your cake if for some reason something is not decorated correctly as stated on your order, we will make necessary changes right away.

Every order is handmade. Decorative finishes are done by hand and are subject to the artistic interpretation of our expert cake decorators. You may provide us with a photograph for inspiration and duplication; however, we make no claims for exact duplication of the work done by other cake decorators.
